1. What detext is

detext is an AI tool that analyzes dating text messages and conversations. It is intended for entertainment and informational purposes only and is not a substitute for relationship counseling, therapy, or legal advice.

2. You must be 18+

By using detext you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you have the right to share the conversations you upload.

3. Payment & subscriptions

One-time purchases unlock a single analysis. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled from the customer portal. Refunds are issued at our discretion for technical failures within 7 days of purchase.

4. Data we keep

Screenshots you upload are stored for up to 7 days and then automatically deleted. The text of each analysis (input + AI output) is retained so you can revisit results from your account. You can request full deletion at any time by emailing hello@detext.app.

5. Acceptable use

Don't upload content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or anything illegal. Don't use detext to harass, stalk, or blackmail anyone. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. AI output disclaimer

AI is wrong sometimes. Predictions are probabilistic, not promises. Do not make consequential decisions (ending relationships, confrontations, legal action) based solely on a detext output.

7. Limitation of liability

detext is provided “as is”. We're not liable for losses or damages arising from your use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes counts as acceptance.
